This information only applies to the desktop versions of Race The Sun, not the mobile or console versions.


Race the Sun creates a file that records data about the most recent game session. This data can be extremely useful for tracking down bugs and problems on your computer. It will be very helpful to us if you can include this log file with your bug report or support ticket.


Here is how to find the file:


On Windows (Steam):

  1. Right-click on the game in Steam and click "Properties"
  2. Find the "Local Files" tab, and use the "Browse Local Files" button
  3. Under the "RaceTheSun_Data" folder you will find the file called "output_log.txt"


On Windows (DRM-free):

  1. Open the folder where you have installed Race The Sun
  2. Under the "RaceTheSun_Data" folder you will find the file called "output_log.txt"

 

On Mac:

  1. Open Finder and click "Go" in the menu
  2. Click "Library" in the Go menu (You may need to hold the Alt button to make the Library option visible)
  3. Find the file called "Player.log" under Logs/Unity/Player.log

On Linux:

    The log file should exist here:
      ~/.config/unity3d/Flippfly/RaceTheSun/
