We grant a "Flippfly Account" key with every purchase of the DRM free version of Race the Sun; much the same way that Humble provides Steam keys along with some purchases. The key lets you create a Flippfly account.
You need a Flippfly account to participate in the online features of Race the Sun (like leaderboards) in the DRM free version. To use these features you need to have an account so we can assign a username etc. We also provide a backup copy of the game and and other things like the soundtrack. This is essentially your own little library of everything that you have purchased from us.
