In case of emergencies, you can reset all controls back to the defaults if you press and hold the 'c' key on your keyboard while on the Race The Sun title screen until a pop up message appears.
Controls in Race the Sun come preconfigured for buttons on your keyboard and some game controllers. These button assignments can be easily reconfigured to your liking by following these steps:
1. From the Race The Sun title screen, hit the Options button:
2. Scroll down past the graphics options until you reach the Controls section and the list of key/button bindings:
3. In the "Button" column, select the action you would like to assign to a new physical button
4. Hit the physical button that you would like to use for that control in the game
5. Repeat the process for all buttons that you would like to reassign
6. Your changes are immediately saved automatically
