This article applies only to the desktop versions of Race The Sun and not to the mobile or console versions which do not currently have a level editor or access to player made worlds.
You can create your own worlds to race in and share or find and race in worlds created by other players.
How to find and play worlds created by other players:
DRM-free Race The Sun:
- On the Race The Sun title screen, click "User Worlds"
- Scroll to the right to browse the different worlds that are available
- Click "Play" to race within the world displayed
- Click "Rate" to give that world a 1 to 5 rating
Race The Sun on Steam:
- On the Race The Sun title screen, click "Workshop"
- From the Steam overlay, you can browse all Race The Sun Workshop items
- Click the green "+" or "+ Subscribe" button to queue that world for download to your system
- Exit the Steam overlay when you are done to return to the title screen and click "Play"
- Scroll to the right past the "Credits" world to see all subscribed Workshop worlds
- Click "Play" to race within the world displayed
- Click "Rate/Discuss" to open up the Steam overlay to the page of that Workshop item where you can rate the world and leave comments
- Click "Remove" and "Ok" to unsubscribe from the world displayed
